The Story Of "Just Friend" Song from PEE WEE GASKINS

Just Friends! Ah.. For a long time i’ve been trying to write something about being friendzoned! Haven’t really got the idea up until now. This is the first track coming off our latest EP, The Transit.
We were gathering at Omo’s place to record Berbagi Cerita and I got there earlier than the rest of the boys, so while the wait I decided to record some new materials, this is one of them. After we finished recording Berbagi Cerita, the boys stitched their parts but this song is left unfinished without vocals, because the main agenda was just to make Berbagi Cerita and have it release soon, makes up for the delayed release of Epilog.
The next day, I went out with a friend of mine I’ve known since junior highschool. She gave me her CD and got it signed “always be my raindbow buddy!!" and later that night, I went back to Omo and wrote the lyrics to this song and voila, did the vocals with Omo and had it done.
With two new songs under our belt we decided to make the EP and add another acoustic version of this song.
This song itself is fictional though. Had a lotta fun writing this one!
